The Land Restoration Trust’s philosophy is one built on community engagement and involvement and as such is considered an integral part of project planning.

We pledge to work comprehensively with established community groups and partners to find appropriate and sustainable site solutions, working with these groups to create new decision making groups if necessary.

We will ensure that they are aware of all issues associated with their site and they will then have the opportunity to influence the outcomes of that site – this is after all their community, their lives and their future and the Trust will never forget this.

We hope that by adopting an inclusive, open dialogue with communities, the idea of ‘ownership’ will be established and this will develop a keen sense of place and pride in the area, undermining the possibility of future misuse, vandalism or anti-social behaviour and will ensure that the site is used to it’s full potential.
